This year’s MLB season, which was slated to start on March 26, has been postponed until further notice due to the Covid-19 outbreak. It remains uncertain what will happen until we start seeing lockdowns and restrictions being lifted, hopefully in the not too distant future.
The MLB is now considering options for the 2020 season – one possibility is games being played without fans in spring training parks. There is a chance that the new baseball season could begin in either Florida or Arizona where the teams spring sites are close together but there are many other factors to consider with public safety being the chief concern.
