Gestelum’s form has been more mixed of late, with four defeats in his last seven fights, although he followed three straight losses with a unanimous decision win over Ian Heinisch in February.
Prior to that, he was beaten by Adesanya (unanimous decision), Till (split decision), Jack Hermansson (submission).
The 29-year-old American is known as an attacking fighter who is willing to take a few hits to land his own combinations.
Of his 10 wins that have come via stoppages, six have come from KOs and four as the result of submissions.
