Jan Blachowicz vs. Glover Teixeira Betting Odds

The main event sees the new light-heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz against the savvy veteran Glover Teixeira. Because both of these fighters are finishers, don’t anticipate this fight to go to a decision.

Jan Blachowicz Fight Odds

Jan Blachowicz is the slight favorite with UFC Betting sites in this fight. Since entering the UFC in 2014, he’s experienced a second wave of success. He has fought the division’s elite fighters since the beginning and came into his own in 2017. He has only lost one bout in the previous nine, with most of his victories coming by decision. Blachowicz is well-known for his knockout power and knowledge of Brazilian Ju-Jitsu. Blachowicz’s best bet is to put pressure on Teixeira, keep him on the end of his punches and kicks, and aim for a decision victory.

Glover Teixeira Fight Odds

Glover Teixeira has just seen a similar resurgence to Blachowicz. Teixeira was challenged for the title by former champion Jon Jones in 2014. Since then, he has amassed brief victory streaks before succumbing to the division’s best. He’s recently established his camp in Connecticut and has a five-fight winning streak dating back to 2019. Teixeira had previously trained with former champion Chuck Liddell and was well-known for his ability to finish. Teixeira has won most of his fights by KO/TKO, although he has also won nine through submission. His greatest chance of victory is to either TKO Blachowicz or take him down and attempt a submission.

Petr Yan vs. Cory Sandhagen Betting Odds

Former champion Petr Yan will compete for the interim bantamweight title against number three ranked Cory Sandhagen in the co-main event. Whoever wins this fight must unify the belt with current champion Aljamain Sterling.

Petr Yan Fight Odds

Petr Yan is the overwhelming favorite in this bout, and for a good reason. This was supposed to be a championship rematch. He was on a ten-fight winning streak before his most recent defeat, which ruled a foul against Aljamain Sterling. He’s knocked out numerous great UFC fighters, including Jose Aldo and Uriah Faber. Yan is recognized for his aggressive approach and unrelenting pace. The bulk of his victories have come through decisions or TKO/KO. Yan’s best bet is to apply forward pressure on Sandhagen and seek a TKO/KO finish.

Cory Sandhagen Fight Odds

Cory Sandhagen is looking to rebound from his loss to T.J Dillashaw, the next in line for a championship shot. Since Dillashaw is rehabilitating from a slew of injuries, Sandhagen is taking his second shot at Yan. Sandhagen stands 5ft 11 and has a 70-inch reach advantage in the bantamweight class. Sandhagen is a skilled striker who understands how to utilize his reach; expect him to keep Yan on the receiving end of his punches and kicks before going for a TKO/KO finish.

Islam Makhachev vs. Dan Hooker Betting Odds

At lightweight, Islam Makhachev will face Dan Hooker. Islam Makhachev has been dubbed the “second coming of Khabib Nurmagomedov,” while Dan Hooker seeks to climb the ranks and get back into title contention.

Islam Makhachev Fight Odds

Islam Makhachev is the overwhelming favorite on this card, and for a good reason. He’s now on an eight-fight winning streak and has only lost once in his career. He’s been dubbed the “next Khabib Nurmagomedov” since they train together and have similar fighting styles. Makhachev is well-known for his grueling wrestling technique, and he could take Hooker down and beat him on the ground. Makhackev’s bet is to take this bout to the ground early and win via submission.

Dan Hooker Fight Odds

Dan Hooker is re-entering the fray early, with his previous bout taking place barely a month ago. Hooker has given up visiting his family and returning to New Zealand this year to climb back up the rankings. Hooker is a versatile fighter who isn’t hesitant to get into a brawl. He faces a difficult task in dealing with Makhachev, but he is ready for the challenge. Hooker could aim for a TKO/KO finish if he can defend against the constant takedowns. Otherwise, if the battle proceeds to the ground, he has a higher chance of getting a submission.

Alexander Volkov vs. Marcin Tybura Betting Odds

The Russian Alexander Volkov will face the Polish Marcin Tybura in the heavyweight division next. Volkov hopes to bounce back after his most recent defeat, while Tybura is looking to prolong his winning run and climb the rankings.

Alexander Volkov Fight Odds

The favorite for this battle is Alexander Volkov, trying to make a statement after losing to interim heavyweight champ Ciryil Gane. Since entering the UFC, Volkov has had a great run, winning seven of ten fights and losing only to the best in the division. Volkov is 6ft 7 inches tall and has an 80-inch reach advantage; he uses his bulk well and keeps his opponent on the end of his blows. Expect him to keep Tybura at bay and win by TKO/KO.

Marcin Tybura Fight Odds

Marcin Tybura has had a resurgence in the last year, winning five consecutive fights. He appears to have found his feet in the division and is eyeing a title run next year. He’s been a staple in the UFC heavyweight class since 2016, and his record has been mediocre up until now. Tybura has won his past five fights through TKO or decision, and he will do the same in this one; he will either take a decision win or try to push for a finish.

Li Jingliang vs. Khamzat Chimaev Betting Odds

Following that, welterweight Li Jingliang will face Khamzat Chimaev. Li Jingliang wants to steal Chimaev’s hype and push for a top-ten ranked bout next, while Chimaev wants to get into the welterweight rankings.

Li Jingliang Fight Odds

Li “The Leach” Jingliang is seeking to extend his current winning run by defeating Chimaev, one of the division’s most hyped-up fighters. Jingliang has been inUFC since 2014 but has yet to face any of the division’s elite. He’s recognized for his aggressive style, and he’s always looking for the finish. Expect a difficult battle, with Jingliang’s best chance of victory being a TKO/KO finish.

Khamzat Chimaev Fight Odds

Khamzat Chimaev is the favorite to win this fight; since breaking into the UFC in 2020, he’s won three fights, all of which were finishes. He has an unblemished record of nine victories and zero defeats. Due to Covid, he has been out since the end of 2020. Chimaev is eager to climb the ranks as rapidly as possible. Chimaev’s best hope is to take this fight to the ground early and finish with a TKO.

Magomed Ankalaev vs. Volkan Oezdemir Betting Odds

Two light heavyweights, Magomed Ankalaev and Volkan Oezdemir square off to round out the main card. Ankalaev wants to add Oezdemir’s name to his Résumé, while Oezedimer is looking to bounce back from his most recent defeat.

Magomed Ankalaev Fight Odds

Magomend Ankalaev is on a six-fight winning streak and is seeking to add former title challenger Oezdemir to that list. Ankalaev has a record of fifteen victories and one defeat. The defeat came on his UFC debut. The bulk of Ankalaev’s victories have been via TKO/KO, which is why he can win since Oezdemir was knocked out in his most recent bout.

Volkan Oezdemir Fight Odds

Volkan Oezdemir is seeking to get back on track with a victory over rising star Ankalaev. Oezdemir has quickly risen to the top of the division, but he has lost against the division’s greatest fighters. He’s a skilled striker who has won 12 of his fights via TKO/KO. As he was knocked out in his last fight, his best chance is to win by decision.
