Amanda Lemos vs. Jessica Andrade – UFC Fight Odds
Challenger Amanda Lemos is riding high on her five-fight win streak. She hasn’t lost since her nervy debut to the UFC in 2016, and that’s her only professional loss from 13 fights. This is a huge step up in competition for the Brazilian striker, as she is currently ranked tenth but will face the former champion of the division.
This all-striker matchup between two Brazilian rivals with a combined total of 15 knockouts promises to be an intriguing watch.
While the 34-year-old’s last fight was as close as it gets – narrowly winning via split decision – she has shown to be super dangerous standing up. Lemos has a 35-second knockout win against Conejo and two other first-round stoppages in her UFC bouts alone.
Despite the momentum on her side, the odds are stacked against the lower-ranked Lemos. She faces a hugely experienced opponent that has been at the peak of the division since 2017.
Jessica Andrade once held the strawweight belt from May 2019 until August 2019. She then tried again to capture it for the second time against Valentina Shevchenko last year – but was stopped in the second round.
Since then, Andrade faced Cynthia Calvillo in September 2021, ending things with a nasty knockout at the end of the first round. So it’s clear she still belongs at the top of the food chain in this division.
The 30-year-old is the younger and much more experienced fighter and has plenty of history with five-round bouts. Andrade will need to maneuver carefully to avoid the long reach of her taller opponent.
This all-striker matchup between two fierce Brazilian rivals with a combined total of 15 knockouts promises to be an intriguing watch.

Chase Sherman vs. Alexandr Romanov – UFC Fight Odds
This heavyweight clash was initially set to be between Tanner Boser and Romanov, but The Bulldozer had to back out.
Chase Sherman stepped in at short notice and will look to turn around his three-fight losing streak with a win. He has an impressive 94% finish rate, with 14 knockout wins.
The American isn’t as well versed on the floor against his dangerous Jiu-Jitsu skilled opponent, so keeping things standing is crucial for him.
Romanov, who joined the UFC ranks in 2020, has never lost a professional fight. He has fought four times in the Octagon, and only one of these fights called for a decision to be made – with two submissions and a recent knockout win against Jared Vanderaa.
The Moldovian who trains with The Lion Club made his come up from the Eagles Fighting Championship – the Russian MMA championship owned by Khabib Nurmagomedov. King Kong has a 94% finish rate and carries a clean sheet with a 15-fight win streak.

Clay Guida vs. Claudio Puelles – UFC Fight Odds
This closely pitted lightweight bout is between the knowledge and the youth. Clay Guida is a UFC relic and faces Latin America’s Ultimate Fighter champion Claudio Puelles.
Guida will make his 33rd appearance in the Octagon on the weekend – the American has fought in the UFC since 2006. He might be one of the oldest fighters in the division, but you can never count him out. He last fought Leonardo Santos in December, where he found a rear-naked choke at the start of the second round.
The Carpenter has a 60% finish rate, with five knockouts and 16 submissions in his massive highlight reel. He has also won two of his last three bouts and is looking to put together a winning streak.
Claudio Puelles made his UFC debut back in 2016. He has only fought four more times since then and won every bout. The Peruvian has shown some outstanding submission prowess, including two recent wins by kneebar against Felipe Silva and Chris Gruetzemacher.
Puelles is 15 years younger, four inches taller, and has only suffered two professional losses. El Nino will need to pass by the old guard of Guida if he wants to continue climbing the ranks of the division.

Lando Vannata vs. Charles Jourdain – UFC Fight Odds
Another close pick’em fight will go down between these two featherweights. It will be a contest of Wrestling (Vannata) and Striking (Jourdain).
Lando Vannata is a very slight underdog but is coming off the back of winning two out of his last three fights. He lost to Bobby Green by decision back in August 2020, but he won a close fight against Mike Grundy since then.
Groovy, as he is known, has a 75% finish rate and can do it all, with four knockout wins and five submissions.
Charles Jourdain has a similar tale of the tape, with 12 wins and five losses in his MMA career. In December, he faced Andre Ewell, winning the fight by unanimous decision.
The former TKO Championship fighter entered the UFC in 2019. Since then, he has been submitted once, lost two close decision fights, and had his fair share of success with three wins, two of which were knockouts.
The Canadian has a 92% finish rate and, just like his opponent, is looking to put together a winning streak after his last victory.

Maycee Barber vs. Montana De La Rosa – UFC Fight Odds
This all-American women’s flyweight bout will be yet another close matchup. Barber will look to knock out her opponent, while De La Rosa will want to take things to the ground and use her Jiu-Jitsu skills to leverage a win.
Maycee Barber enters as a sizable favorite, with a few things on her side – she is the younger of the pair by three years and has a 78% finish rate. The 23-year-old once won five fights in a row, all with knockout finishes.
She has lost twice in the UFC against Alexa Grasso and Roxanne Modafferi, but put up valiant efforts in both, eventually losing by decision. Her most recent fight saw the judge’s votes in her favor after going three rounds against Miranda Maverick.
Montana De La Rosa last saw the Octagon back in June 2021 – when she faced Ariane Lipski. She won this fight in style, with a second-round knockout.
The 27-year-old likes to get the fight into her wheelhouse, which is on the floor. If she can takedown Barber on the night, we might see an upset.
The Texan has a 75% finish rate and an impressive 11 submissions on her record. She has around double the experience of Barber but will need to dodge her knockout power.

Mudaerji Su vs. Manel Kape – UFC Fight Odds
This flyweight matchup of two talented fighters close to breaking into the top ten kicks off the main card.
Su Mudaerji is an explosive striker on a three-fight win streak. He entered the UFC in 2018 – losing his debut against Louis Smolka by submission, but hasn’t lost since.
The Tibetan Eagle is three inches taller than Kape and carries a significant four-inch reach advantage. The 26-year-old has 12 knockouts in his highlight reel and has an exceptional 87% finish rate.
Manel Kape also had a rocky start to his UFC career. After coming up through the Rizin Fighting Federation, he lost his first two bouts in the Octagon. This didn’t slow down the Angolan though, he took four fights in 2021 in total, winning the last two with first-round knockouts against Ode Osbourne and Zhalgas Zhumagulov.
As the matchup is between two rising stars, expect fireworks when they go toe to toe. It features two rising stars eager to showcase their skills, move up the ranks and add to their win streaks.
