Green Bay Packers Aaron Rodgers Odds

The Green Bay Packers (8-3) host the Los Angeles Rams (7-3) at Lambeau Field on Sunday afternoon, in a rematch of an NFC divisional playoff game from last season. Both teams will be looking to bounce back after a few recent setbacks with results.

  • The Packers have lost two of their last three games and are coming into this game off the back of a 34-31 loss at Minnesota Vikings.
  • The Rams are coming into this game off a bye, which has to be a positive after back-to-back losses against the Tennessee Titans and San Francisco 49ers by a combined score of 59-26.

Rams @ Packers Betting Preview

There’s nothing to split these two teams historically on the head-to-head, with a 47-47-2 all-time record against each other. However, the Packers have come out on top in six of their last seven games against the Rams, including a 32-18 home playoff win in the previously mentioned Divisional Round in January.

There’s very little to choose between the teams in the betting odds on the Moneyline for this game, with offshore sportsbook Bovada having the Rams on offer at –105, while the Packers can be backed at –115.

On the Spread, the Packers -1 is available at –105, while the Rams +1 is also priced at odds of –115.

Rams @ Packers Team News

There is some positive injury news for the Packers, with quarterback Aaron Rodgers still able to play despite a broken toe, while running back Aaron Jones (who sprained the MCL in his right knee) returned to practice on Wednesday.

The Rams would argue that they are a stronger team now than they were when losing to the Packers back in January, particularly with Matthew Stafford at quarterback instead of Jared Goff.

The Rams have also been strengthened by two high-profile midseason additions in wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and outside linebacker Von Miller, while Cooper Kupp has developed into the NFL’s most prolific receiver since that game and Aaron Donald, who was limited by a rib injury in the postseason, is now in good health.

Weather a Factor

A lot of stats and metrics do grade the Rams as the better team coming into this game, but Stafford hasn’t been at his best of late, as those two recent heavy losses would suggest.

Something else to take into account is that home advantage is usually a big factor at Lambeau Field, particularly as the winter months set in. The wind and cold are a distinct disadvantage to most visiting teams.

That could certainly be worth taking into account when making any NFL bets on this game, with the Points Spread potentially being a good angle to back the Packers.
