The D Las Vegas

The D (previously known as Sundance upon opening in July 1980, and then Fitzgerald’s) is the tallest building in downtown Las Vegas. The resort underwent a $22-million renovation in 2012 after brothers Derek and Greg Stevens purchased the property.

The hotel is a 34-story building with 638 rooms, many of which are suites. There is also a pool and a 24-hour fitness center.

The D Las Vegas Sportsbook

The D sportsbook is run by William Hill, who set the Vegas sports lines for customers.

They recently launched a new 3-story sports betting operation called Circa Sports, with a 1,000-person viewing capacity and private boxes for groups and featuring the most advanced technology. It’s the largest sportsbook in Las Vegas and is open 8.30am to 9pm (longer at weekends).

At Circa Sports you can bet on any of the major sporting events and wager on parlays, teasers and Futures in addition to regular bets on the Money Line, Point Spread and Over/Under Totals.

All the Vegas sports betting odds for the day are shown on betting boards behind the cashier, or you can simply open a William Hill sports betting account and then download the app. Live betting is also available in the Sportsbook.

The D Sportsbook has eight standard TVs and there is limited seating and a couple of high tables. Another interesting feature is the Bitcoin ATM next to the gaming floor, where customers can buy and sell Bitcoin instantly for cash.

As is the law throughout Nevada, players must be 21 years of age or older to wager.

The D has a small poker room tucked into the back corner on the 2nd level. It’s nothing special so don’t expect Bellagio-like conditions or game choices
