The Hawaiian-themed California Hotel and Casino (also known as The Cal) opened in 1975 and has been owned by Boyd Gaming since it was built.

Located in downtown Las Vegas, the hotel currently has 781 rooms and amenities include a rooftop pool and fitness center. There’s a shuttle service to Sam’s Town in Henderson, and from Sam’s Town to the Las Vegas strip.

The Cal’s Sportsbook and Lounge is where you can catch all your favorite sporting events on one of 18 65″” TVs, or the big game of the day on their two 2 90″” TVs.

The California’s Sportsbook isn’t the biggest, but its 40-seat area on the hotel’s second floor has everything you need to find all the latest Vegas betting odds and place a wager on your favorite teams.

It’s conveniently located next to Dave’s Aloha Bar with its range of tropical and traditional beverages and there are affordable eating options down the hall at Aloha Specialties.
