Volkanovski vs. The Korean Zombie Fight Odds

This featherweight title fight features sees the reigning champion Alexander Volkanovski facing off with Chan Sung Jung, more commonly referred to as The Korean Zombie.

Volkanovski would have been fighting against Max Holloway in this title defense, but Holloway is injured. The Australian stunned everyone back in September, going the distance in one of the UFC’s best fights against Ortega. He kept his belt then and now has a 20-fight win streak.

The savage from down under has looked unstoppable in recent years and successfully defended his belt three times since claiming it from Holloway back in 2019. The reigning champ will enter the Octagon with 6.42 significant strikes per 15 minutes, which is way above his opponents – 4.07. UFC betting sites have him as a big moneyline favorite.

Volkanovski isn’t scared to take things to the floor either, with 1.77 takedowns per 15 minutes. He showed us that he is almost impossible to submit when he slipped out of two dialed-in attempts from the jiu-jitsu expert Brian Ortega last year.

Chan Sun Jung also went the distance against Ortega back in 2020, but he lost by decision in that bout. The Korean Zombie is still one of the most elite fighters in the division, and while he will enter as a sizeable underdog, you can’t ever count him out.

The Korean dominated in his last UFC appearance, beating Dan Ige by decision. This won’t be his first time going for the title – he fought for this championship nine years ago at UFC 163 when Jose Aldo held the belt.

There are plenty of fans of Jung out there that think he could have what it takes to test the champion. The challenger has some excellent cardio, paired up with some fantastic striking ability that might just take the Aussie champ by surprise.

Aljamain Sterling vs. Petr Yan Fight Odds

The UFC is treating us to this bantamweight championship matchup between Sterling and Yan. The pair last met at UFC 259, where the then reigning champion Yan lost his belt due to landing an illegal knee on the grounded Sterling.

Since then, Sterling had to withdraw from a rematch due to a neck injury, and Yan was crowned the interim champion with a win over Cory Sandhagen.

The Jamaican has crushed the best of the best in the weight class and is riding a six-fight win streak. He hasn’t lost since 2017 and since then has had victories over Sandhagen and Pedro Munhoz. The Funk Master will enter with a giant reach advantage and a taste for revenge after such a dirty ending to the last time the pair met.

Petr Yan’s only loss in the last six years came when he was disqualified during his previous bout against Sterling. He will enter this championship bout as a big favorite to win.

The Russian lands more significant strikes on average, with a 5.98 output compared to 4.84 (Yan). This is a much-anticipated rematch between the cream of the crop in the bantamweight division.

Both fighters have good grappling, but most of the fight was on the feet the last time they met. So if you are a fan of striking matchups, you won’t want to miss this thrilling co-main event.

Gilbert Burns vs. Khamzat Chimaev Fight Odds

This is the first real test for the seemingly unstoppable Chimaev. He has a 10-0 record and has a five-win streak since joining the UFC in July of 2020.

Gilbert Burns is right at the top of the division, and since losing his title shot against Usman last year, he bounced back with a win against Stephen Thompson at UFC 264.

Despite being ranked second in the welterweight division, sportsbooks all have Burns as the underdog in this fight. He will enter with a 4-inch reach disadvantage to overcome and eight years older than his scarily good opponent.

Never has the UFC seen such an entry from a fighter like Chimaev. This guy won two fights in ten days in different weight classes upon joining the UFC in July of 2020.

The Russian native that now trains with Darren Till has a work ethic that is rarely seen in the UFC. He has dominated opponents, picking them up, dumping them in his corner, and then getting wins with nasty ground and pounds.

This promises to be one of the most exciting matchups of the night, and if Chimaev beats Burns as many predict, look for him to get a title shot next.

Mackenzie Dern vs. Tecia Torres Fight Odds

This female strawweight bout is set for three rounds between Dern and Torres. It will be an engrossing jiu-jitsu (Dern) versus striker (Torres) matchup.

Mackenzie Dern will be looking to make her comeback after a recent loss to Marina Rodriguez at a UFC Fight Night in October. Besides this last loss, the Brazilian has ended four of her five previous bouts in the first round via submissions.

When looking at the odds, the 28-year-old will enter as a slight underdog, but there’s not much in it. If we see her use her impressive groundwork, she could quickly get the win.

Tecia Torres is on a three-fight win steak and last earned a decision victory over Angela Hill. The American striker will want to keep things standing against Dern, who has shown repeatedly that her jiu-jitsu is world-class.

The Tiny Tornado has a high striking output with 4.71 strikes per minute. Torres also has a fair amount more experience on her side and is on a run for a title shot with another couple of wins, so the stakes are high.

Kelvin Gastelum vs. Nassourdine Imavov Fight Odds

This compelling middleweight matchup will see American Kelvin Gastelum take on Frenchmen Nassourdine Imavov.

Gastelum needs to make something happen – after he has fallen to tenth in the rankings. With five of his six last fights being losses after challenging Adesanya for the interim title back in 2019.

Imavov is new to the UFC and is quickly climbing the ranks. Since entering with a win against Jordan Williams in October 2020, the French fighter has won four out of his five bouts – losing only to Phil Hawes by split decision.

He has recently ended fights with second-round stoppages against Ian Heinisch and Edmen Shahbazyan. This will be a fair fight between the two thrilling strikers. Imavov will slightly have the edge with a reach advantage, momentum on his side, and the younger fighter.
