ufc fight night betting odds

A shot at the women’s bantamweight title is on the line at UFC Fight Night. In the main event, No. 2 Holm has a chance to strengthen her legacy and put a halt to fifth-ranked Vieira’s rapid rise to the top.

The unranked Michel Pereira will face Santiago Ponzinibbio in the co-main event. If Pereira can extend his win streak to five, he will fight someone in the top ten next. This card will also see the first real test for Chidi Njokuani. He made a huge impact on fans with a 16-second first-round knockout debut, but how will he follow it up against Dusko Todorovic?

Holly Holm vs. Ketlen Vieira – UFC Fight Odds

The night’s main event is the five-round bantamweight bout between two top-five ranked women. Holly Holm is competing for the first time in 18 months, with her last wins coming from her 2020 bouts. In contrast, Ketlen Vieira is coming off the back of beating Miesha Tate in November.

Despite her lack of appearances inside the Octagon, Holm enters as a reasonably big favorite with odds of -210 to get the win. After recovering from a knee injury, she will likely get another shot at the belt with a win against Vieira.

The American was once the champion briefly back in 2015 when she best Ronda Rousey at UFC 193. Since then, she has had plenty of chances to regain the title but has always fallen short.

The 40-year-old is having one last hurrah, and a win against the Brazilian will make her the number one contender. Holm has a slight reach advantage but could come undone with her 76% takedown defense.

We last saw Ketlen Vieira emerging victorious after going a full five rounds with Miesha Tate. The former champion didn’t have what it took to get the win, and the judges awarded Vieira the victory.

The Brazilian went on a four-fight win streak upon joining the UFC in 2016 but suffered her first loss against Irene Aldana in late 2019. She made a comeback with a win against Sijara Eubanks but followed that up with a loss at the hands of Yana Kunitskaya.

The jiu-jitsu expert will likely want to get things on the ground – she has 1.71 completed takedowns per 15 minutes that will test Holm’s wrestling. Vieira was in talks of a title shot before losing to Irene Aldana, so a win here could put her back on track to the top.

Santiago Ponzinibbio vs. Michel Pereira – UFC Fight Odds

This welterweight co-main event bout will see Ponzinibbio try to come back after losing to Geoff Neal at UFC 269. Pereira, on the other hand, will look to extend his win streak to five with another victory.

Santiago Ponzinibbio took over two years away from the Octagon after beating Neil Magny in 2018. He showed ring rust in his return fight against Li Jungliang in 2021 and was knocked out in the first round.

In June of last year, the Argentine found some form with a win against Miguel Baeza and went five rounds against Geoff Neal at UFC 269 but lost by a narrow split decision.

This promises to be a sensational bout between two of the most exciting fighters in the division, and Vegas oddsmakers have made Ponzinibbio the favorite to win the bout.

The currently unranked Michel Pereira is eager to know where he sits in the division’s pecking order. He last faced number 30, Andre Fialho, and picked up a decision win, but this will be his first real test.

Pereira has the same reach as his opponent, and although he is seven years younger, he has more professional fights on his record.

There will be plenty of people tuning in to see how the Brazilian will fair against such a formidable opponent. A victory against Ponzinibbio will mean he will go to war with a top ten opponent next.

Chidi Njokuani vs. Dusko Todorovic – UFC Fight Odds

This middleweight bout is between two prodigies who made their come-ups through Dana White’s Contender Series. It promises to be a battle of kickboxing versus grappling.

Chidi Njokuani is on a three-fight win streak, with the most recent victory from his spectacular UFC debut. This dangerous striker ended his first-ever bout in the division with a 16-second knockout against Marc-Andre Barriault.

The former Bellator fighter has plenty of experience but has found it challenging to beat skilled jiu-jitsu opponents, with three of his seven losses coming from submissions. He enters as a sizeable favorite but will want to keep things standing against his well-versed opponent.

Dusko Todorovic snapped his two-fight losing streak with a first-round win against Maki Pitolo at the tail end of last year.

“Thunder” might be the underdog, but he has some things going for him: he is six years younger than Njokuani and has a 91% finish rate – much higher than the 67% of his opponent.

The Serbian has proved that he can make his opponents tap out. Therefore, he will likely want to test the takedown defense of Njokuani and get an advantage with his ground and pound skills.

Polyana Viana vs. Tabatha Ricci – UFC Fight Odds

This women’s flyweight bout will see Viana look for her third win in a row against the new addition to the UFC in Ricci.

In the last couple of years, Polyana Viana has impressed with her jiu-jitsu, picking up wins against Emily Whitmire and Mallory Martin consecutively with first-round armbars.

“Dama De Ferro” which translates to the Iron Lady, wasn’t exactly living up to her nickname before these two most recent wins. She had a three-fight losing streak from 2018 to 2019, including being submitted by Veronica Macedo in the first round.

A few years ago, the Brazilian made the news when a would-be mugger attempted to steal her phone. The thief ended up having his face re-arranged before getting a rear-naked choke. If she can channel the same ferocious energy against Ricci, she could upset the odds with a win.

Tabatha Ricci is new to the UFC; she joined in 2021 and lost to Manon Fiorot. The 27-year-old pulled things around after her first career loss with a unanimous decision win against Maria Oliveria in October last year.

Ricci enters as the favorite to win despite having a considerable reach disadvantage to overcome. This might be because this fight is destined to go to the ground, as both fighters are excellent grapplers.

Eryk Anders vs. Jun Yong Park – UFC Fight Odds

This middleweight bout is one of the contenders for the Fight of the Night and should kick things off in style. Both fighters are looking to get back on track after suffering recent losses.

Eryk Anders has been somewhat of a journeyman in the UFC. He’s succeeded in merely six of thirteen fights since joining the franchise in 2017, and his last fight ended with a first-round submission loss against Andre Muniz.

“Ya Boi” hasn’t always lost when facing stiff competition. He has bested high-caliber mixed martial artists like Vinicius Moreira and Gerald Meerchaert.

This is a pick em’ fight, with the odds pretty evenly spread. Both fighters have similar reaches, but Park lands more blows with a striking output of 4.69 significant strikes per minute.

Jun Yong Park is four years younger than his opponent and was on a three-fight win streak before his recent loss.

The Korean puts his opponents under immense pressure with his high output striking and relentless grappling. A win from Park would see him back on track to break into the rankings, and the sportsbooks have him as a slight favorite.
